A Virginia man has been charged with threatening to kill President Barack Obama, according to the Associated Press.

Christopher Hecker of Waynesboro, Va. made death threats against the president and threatened to bomb the White House and other locations, including Philadelphia City Hall and the site of the former World Trade Center. The  threats were allegedly emailed to various media outlets, according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court in Harrisonburg.

Secret Service agents arrested Hecker after they learned he had signed on to a computer at the Waynesboro public library. The Court documents also show Hecker indicated he wanted to be sentenced immediately and is seeking the death penalty.

A federal judge has ordered Hecker to undergo a psychological evaluation.
