A dedication ceremony at Ronald Reagan National Airport later this morning could complicate things for midday travelers.
Expect heavy traffic delays heading into Reagan National Airport today between 11 a.m. and noon. as the airport dedicates a statue of the 40th President. The statue will be unveiled in Terminal A during a special ceremony.
Traffic heading into both the departure and arrival ramps of all terminals will be severely affected, with several of the lanes being closed. Travelers heading to the airport at that time may want to consider taking Metro, or parking in one of the garages to meet or drop off passengers.
