Feb. 4-24: Intimate Network

This month you can view a solo project by D.C.-based artist Lisa Marie Thalhammer at The Fridge. Intimate Network examines relationships through oil and pastel portraits of people from within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. Not one color of the rainbow is left unused in the artist's work, which lets viewers peek into her personal life and experience the emotions painted on large wood panels and canvas.

Feb. 4-24: Dot and Dash

Life is complicated, but art doesn't have to be. In Del Ray Artisans' latest exhibit, Dot and Dash, artists follow the theme of basic lines and circles.

Feb. 4-Mar. 3: Fabricated: An Exhibition of Wearable Art

You can head to Torpedo Factory Art Center's Target Gallery through March 3 for Fabricated: An Exhibition of Wearable Art. The clothing and jewelry featured in this exhibit defy labels as they blur the line between fashion and art.
