Jan. 14: Delilah

Many are familiar with the Biblical tale of Samson, who lost his incredible strength when he told his lover, Delilah, that the secret behind his abilities was his un-cut hair. But beyond the silver incentive that led to her betrayal, few tell the story from Delilah's point of view...until now. Tonight you can come to Atlas Performing Arts Center at 7:30 to see ArtsCentric's one-night-only staged reading of Delilah, a new musical about the woman whose trickery devastated a kingdom.

Jan. 14-Feb. 23: Rise and Shine: New Paintings by Patrick Brennan

Brooklyn-based painter Patrick Brennan has a new series up at Heiner Contemporary through February 23. Rise and Shine is an explosion of craft supplies and color, and features glitter, puffy paint, and geometric scraps of paper that come together in kaleidoscopic works that encourage the viewer to consider the process behind the finished product.
