For more madness Landless Theatre stages Evil Dead The Musical this weekend through the end of the month at the Frederick Cultural Arts Center. Zombies, harmonies and a chainsaw make for a bloody mix.
(Oct. 14-16) Becoming American
District dance master Dana Tai Soon Burgess explores the experience of a Korean child uprooted from her birthplace when adopted by Americans in Becoming American. The production is presented all weekend in Northeast Washington.
(Oct. 16) The Wiyos
Eclectic New York City combo The Wiyos bring sounds from all over the 20th century to Iota in Arlington Sunday night. New material inspired by The Wizard of Oz fuses vaudevillian and contemporary sounds.
