The Phillips Collection has a series of masterworks by Edgar Degas. The Impressionist loved ballet - he knew the dancers, the music and the moves and represented the world well with oils, pastels, drawings, prints and sculptures. His passion for the form is obvious in Degas’s Dancers at the Barre: Point and Counterpoint showing until early 2012.
