Portion Of U.S. Capitol Closed Due To Asbestos Spill

The House side of the U.S. Capitol building is closed this morning because of an asbestos-related incident.

The office of the Architect of the Capitol is telling lawmakers and any sides who work on that side of the building it will stay closed until further notice.

The incident was first described as an "industrial spill" but now appears to be related to ongoing asbestos-removal work.
