Prince William County Police Seek Assistance In Finding Man Linked To Rape

Prince William County Police are looking for a man they say could provide information on the rape a woman in her apartment in Woodbridge early this morning while children were in the home.

The 34-year-old woman told police the incident happened after she awoke to an unknown man inside her bedroom. He was armed with a handgun. The two children in the home were unharmed.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in an apartment complex in the 13700 block of Keelingwood Circle.

Neighbors reported that a suspicious man had been seen lingering in the area during a canvass of the apartment complex, and police have released a sketch of the suspect. They're offering a reward for information about the incident.
