Analysis: National Governors Meeting Key For Both McAuliffe, O'Malley

Governors from around the country are in Washington right now for the winter National Governors Association meeting. That includes both governors from our region — Maryland’s Martin O’Malley and Virginia’s Terry McAuliffe. The meeting is significant for the two Democratic governors. As O’Malley joins his fellow governors for his eighth and final year, McAuliffe is greeting many faces for the first time. Columnist David Hawkings, who writes the Hawkings Here column for Roll Call, talks with WAMU host Matt McCleskey about their different roles at the winter conference.
