WRAU Outstanding Sports Feature: Boxing Coach Keeps Kids Off Street

The Main Street Gym in Salisbury is a training center for amateur boxers. But it's also more than that: You can only join if you stay away from gangs, and have no record of violent convictions. Coach Hal Chernoff started the gym out of his house more than 20 years ago, and is dedicated to keeping Salisbury kids off the street. Bryan Russo visited the gym in the spring of 2013 to talk with Chernoff and some of the young athletes with whom he works.
