Report: Cocaine Congressman To Resign

Rep. Trey Radel, the Florida Republican caught buying cocaine in Dupont Circle last October, will resign from the House of Representatives.

Politico reported this morning that Radel, who received probation for the offense, will submit a letter resignation to Speaker of the House John Boehner today.

Radel, who was first elected to the House in 2012, had before rejected calls from fellow Republicans that he give up the seat.
