Montgomery County Speed Cameras Vandalized

There's a traffic sign on Quince Orchard Boulevard near Great Seneca Highway. It warns you that a speed camera is in operation.

But that sign now sports a black swastika that's been spray-painted on. The speed camera nearby was also spray-painted, so much so that Montgomery County Police say that it has been rendered inoperable.

Police say at least three speed cameras in the county have been vandalized with spray paint, including one in Gaithersburg city. They received reports of the vandalism late last night and are currently investigating.
