Mar. 15-Apr. 28: Mary T. & Lizzy K.

The world premiere of Mary T. & Lizzy K. opens tomorrow at Arena Stage in Southwest D.C. Written and directed by Tazewell Thompson, the play chronicles the unlikely bond that formed between First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln and her seamstress, Elizabeth Keckly, a talented woman who bought her way out of slavery. The drama about friendship, love, loss and promises is the first installment in Arena Stage's American President's Project. The show runs through April 28.

Mar. 14-23: 2013 International Glass + Clay

You can see a collection of work by British and local artists at the 2013 International Glass + Clay exhibit at Pepco Edison Place Gallery in Northwest D.C. The group show features a diverse array of sculpture, ceramic objects, glass panels and more, and will be on display through March 23.

The virtual reality company Oculus is close to releasing a headset for games, movies and other entertainment. The company premiered an animated short called Henry that will come with the headsets.
