SpaceX Reports Problem With Launch Of Dragon Capsule

The SpaceX mission to resupply the International Space Station has encountered a problem, the founder of the private space firm, Elon Musk, has announced via Twitter.

"Issue with Dragon thruster pods. System inhibiting three of four from initializing. About to command inhibit override," Musk tweeted shortly after an otherwise successful launch of the Dragon capsule, which is carrying about a ton of supplies to the ISS.

Musk is monitoring the flight from SpaceX Mission Control in California, according to The Associated Press.

The AP reports, "the trouble cropped up nine minutes after Friday's launch from Cape Canaveral."
