Few details have emerged about the murder of 18-year-old Meyder Bladimir Yuman.

A Prince George's County teen has been shot and killed just blocks from his Lewisdale home. Meyder Yuman, 18, is the eighth young person killed by gun violence in the county since August.

The stepfather of 18-year-old Meyder Yuman tells NBC4 the shooting may have been gang-related.

Police were called to the 7200 block of 24th Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

This marks the eighth slaying of a teenager in Prince George's County since August.
