Five additional Maryland teens have been indicted as adults on murder charges for a fatal stabbing at the Woodley Park Metro station last year.
Seventeen-year-old Chavez Myers of District Heights was originally charged with first-degree murder, while the other five were charged as adults with robbery for the incident that occurred Nov. 17.
The new indictments lodge felony murder charges against the five as well. Myers still faces a first-degree murder charge.
A total of nine suspects were arrested and charged in the stabbing death of 18-year-old Olijawon Griffin of Olney. Police say Griffin was robbed of an iPhone and jacket while trying to buy marijuana and later confronted the alleged robbers at the Woodley Park station.
