Prince George's County police are preparing to make an arrest in the murder of 18-year-old Marckel Ross, who was shot on his way to school on Sept. 11, 2012.

Seven teenagers have been murdered in Prince George's County this school year, and Assistant Chief Kevin Davis says police are a step closer to solving those crimes. He says an arrest for Ross' murder will be announced Monday or Tuesday.

"We'll stand up with the state's attorney, the chief of police will," says Davis. "And we'll announce and get into details about that homicide closure."

Davis says this will mark arrests in four of the six cases involving teenagers murdered this school year. "By the time we announce this arrest with Marckel Ross, we'll have arrested 11 people so far for their involvement in four different murders."

Police are still investigating the deaths of Amber Stanley, Aaron Kidd and Andre Shuford.
