Even years after her tenure, Michelle Rhee remains a controversial figure in D.C.

D.C.'s former schools chancellor Michelle Rhee was one of the most polarizing figures in the District in recent years. A new report airing on national TV called "The Education of Michelle Rhee" looks at her successes and failures.

The documentary chronicles Michelle Rhee's turbulent tenure as the chancellor of the D.C. public school system.

The story includes allegation by a former D.C. school principal that Rhee's reforms led to widespread cheating by teachers and staffers to curry favor with Rhee and thousands of dollars in bonuses.

Three investigations by the Department of Education, the D.C. Inspector General and a private security firm have not substantiated claims of widespread cheating.
