Expect to wait a little more than usual this weekend on the Red and Orange Lines.

Scheduled track work will cause delays on Metro's Red and Orange Lines this weekend.

Starting at 10 p.m. Friday night, buses will replace Orange Line trains between Vienna and East Falls Church. Metro says it will be running both local and express shuttle buses through that area's stations, leading to delays of between 15 and 30 minutes for anyone headed that way.

On the Red Line, meanwhile, trains will be share a single track all weekend along two stretches: between Shady Grove and Twinbrook and then again between Judiciary Square and Rhode Island Avenue. Metro says anyone traveling through those work zones should add 15 minutes to their anticipated travel time.

Service should be back to normal on Monday.
