There's no scheduled track work on the Red, Orange, Blue, or Yellow Lines this weekend and next weekend.
The only planned work is on the Green Line, and it only affects people traveling to or from the Greenbelt Station.
Green Line trains will be sharing a single track between Greenbelt and College Park. Metro says anyone traveling to or from the Greenbelt Station should allow about 10 minutes of additional travel time.
Regular weekend track work associated with Metro's six-year $5 billion Capital Improvement Program will resume over the weekend of Jan. 4.
On Christmas Eve, Metro will be operating on a regular weekday schedule, but for Christmas Day, the system will open at 7 a.m. and operate on a Sunday schedule, closing at midnight.
