A man who was barricaded inside a Prince George's County home has surrendered to police. The nearly 12-hour standoff is finally over. It began around 2 a.m. last evening when police were called to Berrybrook Terrace in Upper Marlboro, Md. because of a family dispute.

That's when a man with a shotgun locked himself inside the home and the standoff began. It's unclear whose home it is at this point, but police say they removed all the other occupants at the start of the standoff.

This afternoon Prince George's County Police announced on their Twitter feed that the man surrendered without incident. They have yet to release his name or other details.
