The Washington Redskins' Robert Griffin III already has a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, reports the Associated Press.

RGIII turned over a grass and dirt stained burgundy jersey and cleats yesterday — the uniform worn when he set the NFL single-season record for yards rushing by a quarterback in the Skins' win over the New York Giants.

Griffin ran five times for 72 yards in the 17 to 16 victory Monday night, giving him 714 yards on the season and topping the mark of 706 set last year by Cam Newton.

The Redskins are 6-6 and host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
