A 20-year-old man from the District is under arrest in connection with the shooting of a football player from Morgan State University.

Baltimore police say Keith Robertson confessed to the shooting, which happened late Friday on campus.

The victim, Tyrell Okoro, 20, is a sophomore offensive lineman on the football team. Detectives say they believe there was a previous dispute between the pair.

A representative for Morgan State says Robertson is not a student at the university, a historically black institution with an enrollment of about 6,000 students.

Okoro is listed in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital trauma unit.
