One Dead In Double Stabbing At Woodley Park Metro

One man is dead after a double stabbing at Woodley Park-Adams Morgan Metro station in Northwest D.C. early Saturday morning.

Two men were stabbed at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday, and one died later at a local hospital, D.C. police say. The deceased victim has been identified as 18-year-old Olijawon Griffin of Olney, Md. The other victim is in stable condition at the hospital.

Police arrested nine juveniles, and charged seven with aggravated assault. One was charged with aggravated assault and robbery. Police have charged a 17-year-old, whose name is being withheld, with murder. The 17-year-old charged with murder has also been charged with aggravated assault and robbery related to the second stabbing victim.

Griffin was robbed several blocks from the Metro station and later got into a fight with the robbery suspects at the Metro station.
