Scheduled track work will cause delays on four of Metro's five lines this weekend.
Starting at 10 p.m. tonight, Red Line trains will share a single track through the weekend between Takoma and Forest Glen. Metro says to expect it to take 15 minutes longer than usual to go through the work area.
There will also be 15 minute delays on the Orange Line between East Falls Church and West Falls Church as trains share a track through that stretch as well.
Blue Line trains will be single tracking all weekend between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road adding between 15 and 20 minutes to the usual travel time.
And on Saturday only, Yellow Line trains will share a track between Pentagon City and Reagan National Airport, causing delays of 15-20 minutes there as well. The Yellow Line should be back to normal on Sunday.
Elsewhere around the system, normal service should resume Monday morning.
