Registering to vote is now just a drop away, as the Montgomery County Board of Elections has installed a voter registration and absentee ballot drop box outside their Gaithersburg office along Route 355.

County residents can drop off completed applications or ballots 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For directions to the facility, visit 777vote.org and click on 'Location' at the top right corner of the page.

The deadline to register to vote in Maryland is Tuesday evening.
