Voters in Montgomery County will have five different locations to choose from if they decide to vote early.
The prospect of voting early may look more and more attractive to county voters, as the ballot this year is quite long. In addition to the presidential, senate, and congressional races, county voters will choose board of education members and several judges.
They'll also decide seven statewide ballot questions and, depending on where they live in the county, decide on up to three local referenda.
Early voting starts on Oct. 27 and ends Nov. 1. The five early voting locations are:
- Bauer Drive Community Recreation Center in Rockville
- County Executive Office building in Rockville
- The Silver Spring Civic Building
- The Germantown Recreation Center
- Praisner Community Recreation Center in Burtonsville.
Each center will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., except on Sunday, Oct. 28, when centers will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
Early voting is open to any registered voter who qualifies for the election. Voters are encouraged to 777vote.org to view additional information on the early voting centers. During early voting hours, the website will display a scroll bar which will provide wait times of each of the five centers, updated hourly.
