For the thousands of Maryland residents who lost power during the strong "Derecho" storm that blew through in late June the deadline is approaching to have their voices heard by the Maryland Public Service Commission.
Monday is the last day for members of the public to submit comments about power companies' handling of the derecho outages. The Maryland Public Service Commission regulates the state's electric companies and says residents can submit comments through their website.
The PSC is planning hearings with utility companies on Sept. 13 and 14.
