Nearly 2,000 motorcycles are scheduled to roar through Western Maryland and Northern Virginia today for the 9/11 Ride, an event to honor those who died and risked their lives on Sept. 11.
Drivers can expect gridlock this morning in Western Maryland, as police use rolling roadblocks to escort motorcycles coming from Shanksville, Penn.
