Four people are facing charges in connection with suspected synthetic marijuana seized at two businesses in Ocean City.

Four people are facing charges after the seizure of synthetic drugs and paraphernalia from two Boardwalk businesses, according to Ocean City police.

The warrants were served at 'Cool Topics' and 'New York, New York' over the weekend after detectives made undercover purchases from both stores. The investigators say employees in both shops explained to the detectives how to get high using the synthetic drugs.

Officers seized more than 500 bags of packaged suspected synthetic marijuana and several hundred other pieces of suspected drug paraphernalia and a computer.

Police say David Lougasi, 52, of Berlin, Nit-zahn Lougasi, 27, of Ocean City, and Teodras Kassa, 22, of Ocean City and are charged with drug paraphernalia offenses and violations of town ordinances related to synthetic drugs.
