The Department of Parks and Recreation opened the city's 19 swimming pools, 11 spray parks and five children's pools this weekend. The outdoor aquatic facilities will remain open through the Memorial Day weekend from noon to 6 p.m.
Indoor pools, recreation facilities and community centers will be closed Monday.
After the Memorial Day weekend, outdoor pools will be open on weekends only until June 17, when city schools close for the summer.
After June 17, outdoor pools will open six days a week and close one day a week for cleaning and maintenance.
The pools are free for city residents.
