Metrobus Crash In Silver Spring

A crash involving a Metrobus in Silver Spring this morning resulted in at least two injuries, according to emergency responders in Montgomery County. 

The accident has closed multiple lanes of both Colesville Road (Route 29) and Franklin Avenue, where the accident occurred. Four ambulances were called to the scene, but only two patients were transported to the hospital. 

Traffic is backed up on Colesville Road between Frankline Avenue and the Capital Beltway, although it is beginning to move a bit now.
