Get your old parking tickets from D.C. paid up today, before the city ends its amnesty program.

The ticket amnesty program from the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles ends today, nearly six months after it began. The program is offered to anyone who received a parking or driving ticket in the District before Jan. 1, 2010.

Tickets can be paid over the phone, online, or in person at DMV adjudication services on C Street NW. After Friday, the tickets go up because penalties will also be attached.

The program has so far raked in $3.5 million in back payments. Last time D.C. offered a ticket amnesty program was in 2001.
