Survivors and relatives of those killed in the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen have marked the 11th anniversary of the boming at the ship's home base in Norfolk, Virginia.

The ceremony comes after a Pentagon official recently approved charges that carry a possible death penalty for Abd al-Nashiri who is accused of planning the attack. He is due to be arraigned Nov. 9th at the Guantanamo naval base in Cuba on charges that include murder in violation of the law of war.

The current commanding officer of the USS Cole, Comdr. Andrew Ellers, says the prosecution means justice may finally be done.
