As much of Virginia is dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Irene Fauquier County is still struggling with fallout from last week's earthquake.
County officials say they're relocating the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court because of earthquake damage, according to the Associated Press.
The 5.8 magnitude earthquake caused substantial damage to the John Marshall Building on Main Street in Warrenton, where the court is usually located.
A structural engineer said the building could likely withstand significant wind and even storms, but another tremor could cause problems.
There have been several aftershocks since the Aug. 23 earthquake, which was centered in Mineral, Virginia
The court is being moved this week to leased space. Restoration of the John Marshall Building could take up to a year.
