Six Metro stations are closed today for maintenance.

Four stations on the Red Line, and two on the Blue Line are closed today for track work, and that could mean delays of up to 45 minutes.

On the Red Line, Medical Center, Grosvenor, White Flint and Twinbrook are closed, and the Blue Line, Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street are closed. Metro is running free shuttle buses throughout the day.

Metro closed the stations to install new rail, repair tunnel leaks and conduct maintenance on elevators and escalators.

All stations are scheduled to reopen tomorrow morning.
