Police Arrest Protesters In Front Of White House

The demonstration took place in Layfayette Square and was spurred to support voting rights in the District and Congress.

Those arrested were cheered on by several hundred other protestors, all demanding full voting rights for D.C. residents.

Mayor Vince Gray, Eleanor Holmes Norton, as well as other D.C. political activists and figures were among the supporters in the group.
