The Lululemon yoga store in Bethesda has been closed for three months after the body of one of the store's employees, was found badly beaten in the store. Another one of the store's employees has been charged in the murder.

For months now, the covered-up storefront at Lululemon Yoga shop on Bethesda Avenue has stood as a stark reminder of the murder that occurred here.

But Thursday morning, the shop unveiled a new storefront: an entryway framed by colorful stained glass with "love" spelled out on top.

Three months ago, the body of 30-year-old Jayna Murray was found brutally beaten inside. Her co-worker, 28-year old Brittany Norwood, is charged with her murder.

For Murray's father, David, walking into the store was not easy.

"I felt like Jayna was right there with me. I was comforted by that. And when I saw everybody in the store, it was OK," he says.

Prosecutors say on the night of the murder, Jayna Murray found stolen merchandise in the purse of her co-worker Norwood.

Prosecutors say the two women got into an argument, and that's when Norwood attacked Murray possibly with a tool, fracturing her skull. Norwood later bound herself with zipties and falsely claimed that someone else attacked her and Murray, according to police.

Murray's mother, Phyllis, says the grief is tremendous.

"It's a mountain. And we're all on our own separate journey. Sometimes we take a few steps back. But we know Jayna wants us to have joy in our life," she says.

Lululemon is holding a yoga class to honor Murray and celebrate their new theme of love at 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
