Civil War Trust Plans To Buy Former GM Powertrain

The Trust plans to raise the former industrial building, and restore 77 acres to its appearance on Dec. 13, 1862, when the Battle happened. The Trust says some of the contours of the Battle still survive.

The Trust closed amid the automaker's Chapter 11 reorganization.
