Avon Walk For Breast Cancer Hits The Streets Of D.C.

The event aims to help thousands affected by breast cancer worldwide.

After completing the first leg of the walk Saturday, walkers in the crew camped out overnight at the Wellness Village in Chevy Chase, Md.

Today participants will complete the walk with a celebratory ceremony at the Washington Monument grounds later this afternoon.

The Avon Foundation for Women will award the funds raised to local and regional breast cancer organizations to advance access to care and fund breast cancer research.
