


While homeowners may view the insects as an annoying nuisance, to farmers they're something worse. When stink bugs suck the juice from some crops, it can leave the produce unusable and unsellable.
The bugs are a non-native species that's expanded its range in recent years from Pennsylvania throughout the mid-Atlantic. The stink bug has no native predators in the U.S. and scientists have yet to find a way to control its spread.
