Capitals Face Off Against Rangers In Game Two Friday

The puck drops for game two this evening at 7:30 at the Verizon Center. The Capitals are hoping to give their fans another thrilling home win and to extend their series lead to 2 games to none before heading to New York for game three.

The Caps showed resilience in game one on Wednesday. Near the start of the third period, the Rangers took a 1-0 lead, but then the Capitals' stars took over. Alex Ovechkin forced a tough goal to tie things up and Alexander Semin went on to hit the game-winner in overtime.
