Starting in April, the name "Tysons Corner" may be used as an official mailing address for residents and businesses in the 22102 and 22182 zip codes. Those areas are in McLean and Vienna.

Officials with Fairfax County asked for the change because Tysons is expected to grow from its current 17,000 residents to up to a 100,000 people by the year 2050. The future growth is expected, in part, due to four new Metrorail stations currently under construction.
