Board Recommends Names For Sliver Line Metro Stations

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is recommending the names for eight stations. There are no surprises, with the names showing the area they serve. They include: Tysons-McLean, Tysons Central, Reston Town Center and Herndon-Dulles East.

The names must eventually be approved by the Washington Metro Transit Authority board of directors. In all there will be a total of 11 stations, with three outside Fairfax County.
