NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) A Connecticut man suspected of rapes in Virginia and elsewhere along the East Coast has pleaded not guilty today to a rape charge. Aaron Thomas was arrested March 4th in his hometown of New Haven. Authorities accuse him of being responsible for attacks on 17 women since 1997.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) A man serving a life sentence for killing two people in 1985 is offering new evidence to win his parole but the woman convicted of helping him kill her parents says they're both guilty. Elizabeth Haysom says in a letter to The Associated Press that Jens Soering's innocence claims are false.

NEW YORK (AP) Security was called today after Virginia native Chris Brown trashed his dressing room at "Good Morning America" and broke a window with a chair. A person who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity says it happened after the show's co-host Robin Roberts asked him about his attack on Rihanna.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) A decision on setting tuition and fees for Virginia Tech's 2011-2012 academic year has been held off until later this spring. The university says it needs more time to finalize its budget.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) A Belgium-based global logistics company is planning to set up a warehousing and distribution operation at the former Ford Motor Co. plant in Norfolk. It will create 225 jobs when it is fully staffed.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) A map drawn by a winning team of college students will be considered by a commission in Virginia trying to draw the state's new congressional districts. Teams from 13 Virginia colleges submitted proposed districts as part of a statewide competition. The winning team will be announced today.
