ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Gov. Martin O'Malley says if Florida doesn't want $2.4 billion in federal rail funding, Maryland could use it. O'Malley wrote a letter to U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood today to let him know Maryland could use any money rejected by other states.

FORESTVILLE, Md. (AP) Maryland State Police have identified the truck driver killed in a crash this week on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County. Troopers say 57-year-old Osborne Bailey of Charleston, South Carolina was pronounced dead at the scene of Tuesday night's accident in Forestville.

SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) Vladimir Guerrero has signed an $8 million, one-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles. The free agent slugger agreed to terms February 4th on a deal that was contingent upon him passing his physical.
