Controversy Stirs Over Secret Ballot Legislation

Virginia's House of Delegates is considering legislation that would require a secret ballot for organizing labor unions at local businesses. The bill was prompted by the so-called "card check" Congressional legislation that would require every employer to recognize a union if a majority of workers simply sign cards instead of holding secret ballot elections.
