When Is Advertising A 4G Network 'Stretching The Truth'?

If you were watching Sunday night football this weekend, you might have seen an ad for an upgraded Verizon cell phone network.

Verizon is rolling out its new fourth-generation network in a number of markets, including D.C. and Baltimore.

Verizon isn't the first provider to push a 4G network here -- Sprint and T-Mobile have been working on roll-outs as well. Wayne Rash, columnist and Washington bureau chief at eWEEK Labs, says all of these companies are "stretching the truth" by labeling their infrastruture as "4G." Rash spoke with WAMU's Matt McCleskey to give some analysis on the topic.
