This time of year, most of us are thinking a lot about food. Turkey is, of course, the traditional main dish for Thanksgiving dinner -- the holiday where we celebrate the harvest. In Baltimore, there's another dish that's served up to mark the change in seasons: sour beef.

In an old German church, generations young and old keep the sour beef tradition going with an autumn dinner and festival. Barbara Burke and Betty Macioch of Christ Church United in Baltimore's Locust Point neighborhood talk about their relationships with the dish...
