(Nov. 19-21) FUEGO FLAMENCO Wintery weather may be on the horizon, but you'd never know at the Gala Hispanic Theatre at Tivoli Square in Columbia Heights. The sixth annual Fuego Flamenco festival brings the heat all weekend with Madrid’s José Barrios and Company. They present If It Should Dawn, a fusion of flamenco, jazz, and funk, tonight through Sunday.

(Nov. 19) FUNKMASTER And if you're looking for more funk, less flamenco, Maceo Parker plays tonight at 9:30 Club in Northwest. The saxophonist has jammed with James Brown, James Taylor, and just about everyone in between. His crack back-up band helps him infuse a little jazz and hip-hop into otherwise straightforward funky music.

(Nov. 19-21) SUZANNE FARRELL BALLET The Kennedy Center's own Suzanne Farrell Ballet takes center stage this weekend, doing their part to preserve seminal works of ballet with a repertory program that breathes new life into classic works tonight through Sunday.

(Nov. 19-) COLLECTION CELEBRATION And you can unleash your inner collector at African Mosaic: Celebrating a Decade of Collecting, today at the National Museum of African Art on the Mall. The exhibit features wooden figures, gold jewelry, and a coffin in the shape of a cell phone.
